If you are a reasonably aware resident of Washington State, you will know that the Governance of Washington State literally hangs in the balance. Yes, THAT balance, the Judicial Balance. In Washington, Lady Justice is NOT blind. Lady Justice is fully biased toward Communist/Socialist Tyranny. The Legislature ignores the wishes of those who elect them, enriching themselves and their friends, and letting the state infrastructure fall to pieces (while lavishly funding a light rail system that most will not ride); indoctrinates public school children in environmentalist and LGBTQ propaganda while neglecting to teach them to read, write, and compute (only about 30% of school children read and do math at grade level); hire more and more government employees, while private businesses lay off experienced workers and leave the state; add more and higher taxes and fees on every kind of economic activity so that citizens are taxed to death; encourage homelessness, lawlessness, and drug addiction with useless “housing first” and “harm-reduction” policies, and local and county judges that allow prolific offenders to roam the streets committing crimes with few consequences.
This legislative session, the socialists who rule us finally got their fondest wish-they passed a blatantly unconstitutional Income Tax. This 9.9% (higher than all but three other states) tax, though called a “millionaires tax” will soon apply to every citizen, adding to the already-excessive tax burden of law-abiding, hard-working Washingtonians. Lawsuits have already been filed against this tax, and we can expect those suits to end up at the Washington State Supreme Court before very long.
And, that’s where Conservative Lawyers of Washington come in. This August, FIVE Supreme Court seats are open, and the governor and his socialist cronies have made VERY sure that all five are far-Left in outlook, enough to approve that unconstitutional Income Tax when it comes before them. Those judges would be completely in the pocket of the Left in Olympia, and there is no doubt that the state will be in big trouble if that tax is approved. It is perhaps the most consequential election in Washington State’s history, because if the entire Supreme Court is Far Left, the citizens will cease to be Citizens and become Serfs to their Masters in Olympia. In past elections, Washington Citizens have been VERY apathetic, neglecting to vote in every race, and allowing the insane Leftists of Seattle to take over the legislature and impose their depraved values on all of us. This must STOP! CONSERVATIVE LAWYERS, CONSIDER RUNNING FOR STATE SUPREME COURT THIS YEAR! Unfortunately, the filing deadline is May 8, so decisions to run must be made NOW! Especially lawyers in Eastern Washington, please, please, consider a run for Supreme Court! Your fellow citizens need you now, more than ever. We need judges who abide by the Law of the State, its Constitution, instead of the evil philosophy of Karl Marx.
I believe this is the last chance for the Citizens of Washington State to take a stand in favor of Rule of Law, and against the Rulers of Olympia whose fondest wish is to take us down the Road to Serfdom.
