Selling the Income Tax (AKA Millionaires Tax) to the Public. How they are doing it, and why NOT to fall for it.

Readers will know very well that the Far-Left DemocRat Legislature of Washington State finally, after decades of trying, passed what they called the “Millionaires Tax” into law this year. Readers will also be aware that the State Constitution forbids a graduated income tax, stating in plain language that any direct tax MUST treat ALL taxpayers the same, and that the public has rejected an income tax multiple times over decades. With a majority Leftist Supreme Court in their pockets, the legislature knows that when the law reaches them for their evaluation, they will make any amount of effort and twisting of the law and Constitution to approve it. This year is especially fraught, owing to the fact that FIVE Supreme Court positions are on the ballot, due to the Far-Left Governor having appointed all of them due to (very suspicious) retirements of sitting judges all at once.

So, this is who is supporting the Income Tax. Not only the SEIU, but all the Public Employee unions.

Washington State Voters:

How the Public Employee Unions, which are the largest supporters of the Income Tax/AKA Millionaires Tax, are marketing it to voters.
They play to your ENVY of people who earn more money than you do. They paint those people as acquiring their money ILLEGITIMATELY.

They imply that you deserve that money more than those who earned it do. They imply that you are UNDERPAID, through no fault of your own.

Finally, they promise to TAKE that money via the Income Tax and give it to YOU, who deserve it.

Can you see all the falsities, lies, and appeals to people’s greed and envy? Their pitch exposes THEIR OWN GREED AND ENVY.

Don’t be taken in by their underhanded marketing. Sign the petition to repeal the Income Tax! Get all your friends and family to sign!

The Voters of Washington State have only until June 20 to sign the petition to repeal the Income Tax for it to appear on the November ballot. We only have four weeks to save our State.

  1. Well, fiddle! Just had a long post on WA Supreme Court justices rejected, don’t know why. Don’t have time to rebuild it so here’s the short version.

There are three conservative judges running who seem to be solid but need a coordinated effort and funding. The main leftist judges running, many incumbent due to our corrupt appointment system, have well over $100,000 each in campaign funds. Where does that all come from?

    Scott Edwards: votescottedwards.com

I just donated to Vote Scott Edwards, Supreme Court Justice, Washington state. Here’s how you can donate too: https://efundraisingconnections.com/c/ScottEdwards

    Dave Larson: https://www.larsonforjustice.com/

I just donated to Larson for Justice. Here’s how you can donate too: https://efundraisingconnections.com/c/DaveLarson

David Stevens: No campaign website, what’s going on there?

I also sent a message to Edwards’ campaign asking if they were planning on coordinating with the others for get out the vote, funding, etc.

It may be a small step, but if there is really enough support for change, maybe this is a way to go about it.

  2. Well, two attempts to post about the conservative candidates running for Washington state Supreme Court, both failed to post, blocked by WordPress somehow. I guess I’m done.

    1. I shall attempt to do something similar and see if WordPress blocks me. In the 16 years that I have been publishing this blog, I’ve never been blocked from posting anything. Stay tuned.

      1. Perhaps I could mention that I’ve written a longish (for me) post laying out the problems with the Washington state judiciary over at my blog (link by clicking my name). You can also look at pictures of waffle irons, antique sewing machines, and motorcycles. 😁

      2. Tee hee! Great! Happy Friday!
You know, maybe we should meet in person sometime. I’m going to follow you today, and apologize for not following you sooner!
