Since avowed Socialist Katie Wilson, a 43-year-old woman who had never held a productive full-time job before, still receiving financial help from her Leftist parents in another state and married to a man who refuses to work or take care of their child; was elected Mayor of Seattle, all the news from the city has detracted from its appeal. From a downtown wasteland with 37% office vacancies and rapidly-declining real estate values; to the implosion of the “Homelessness Authority” which only ushered in increasing homeless camps, filth, and crime; to the constant police inability to stem prostitution and gun battles on arterial street Aurora Avenue North; Seattle is coming across in the national and local media as unable to provide a safe, clean, prosperous environment for its residents.
Mayor Wilson and her policies and administration have made the national news literally on a daily basis. She had zero executive experience before being elected, and seems to have no idea how to manage the largest city in Washington State. She has become a national embarrassment, and conditions seem to get worse on a regular basis.

Some residents of Seattle seem to be having a case of Buyer’s Remorse.
Mayor Wilson turned off the city cameras when she took office, for the reason that she does not want ICE to be able to use them for immigration enforcement. She puts law-abiding citizens at risk to save illegal migrants, who are numerous in the Sanctuary City of Seattle. The City, County, and State spend enormous amounts of taxpayer funds on services for “refugees” and “asylum-seekers” in the area, while raising taxes and fees across the board, with no end in sight.
Mayor Wilson has made it her top priority to open more shelter beds and tiny homes for the street vagrants and drug addicts dominating the city’s parks and sidewalks. All the tiny home villages will be “low-barrier” which allow drug users to continue using drugs in their units. This has led, elsewhere, to crime, fires, and the destruction of said tiny homes, while the “non-profits” running them rake in the taxpayer funds and donate to the DemocRats who fund them.

The new black, female City Attorney has stated that she will not prosecute any of the druggies for using drugs in public, or the prostitutes along Aurora Avenue, so the police have their hands tied. Is it any wonder that they are leaving, and none are applying for all the open positions?

They are falsely claiming the initiatives to protect parental rights and keep boys out of girls sports are “two dangerous November ballot initiatives, sponsored by a MAGA mega-donor, that would put child abuse victims, LGBTQ+ kids, and all girls at greater risk of harm.”

The people whom the Citizens elect are doing their best to deny those Citizens the right to petition the government for the redress of grievances. That is a Constitutional Right.
Jobs and wealthy individuals and companies are leaving Seattle in a steady stream. Below is one reason why. This is in Tacoma, but the same happens in Seattle. Both cities suffer from a lack of adequate police protection for the people and businesses. Mayor Wilson used as a campaign promise that “companies will not be allowed to close and leave.”
Capitol Hill in Seattle is known as “Homo Central” for its heavy population of homosexuals.
