Well, it’s “later” now, so here are more of the things, people, and animals we saw at the Evergreen State Fair. First, let’s get the politics out of the way. Both the Democrats and the Republicans had booths in their commercial building. Please notice the two booths.

Please note that the Democrats have twice the space of the Republicans. The Democrats SHOUT to voters to stop the “make America Great Again” “takeover” of the state, which is next to impossible in a state that there are NO Republicans in any statewide office, and the legislature is very close to a super-majority that would mean NO Republican input to any law the Democrats wish to pass. This is very discouraging. Especially with an Income Tax on the ballot.

We walked into the Crafts building where beautiful quilts were displayed. I especially liked these American Flag designs.

This one was the Best In Show.

We went to visit the Horticulture display next.

The one on the left is a Prayer Plant, and I was taken with its green leaves that almost look painted on. Hubby liked the two succulents.

People-watching is always fun at the fair. I loved this little guy’s t-shirt.

I always go for the goats. And there’s nothing more fun than watching baby goats. These little guys did not disappoint.

As usual, my favorites are horses. We went over to the horse arena, and discovered that the show for the day was draft horses, pulling one-person buggies. All the horses were decked out in fancy harnesses with lots of metal studs! They were all different colors, and breeds.

This team won first place.

Out in front of the horse arena there was a little enclosure where youngsters were demonstrating their proficiency on BMX bikes and scooters.

We got some food later, and Hubby found a Philly Cheesesteak place. He is from South Jersey, near Philadelphia, so he knows what to look for!
