My, My, My, Aren’t we Prescient!

It seems that just yesterday, I wrote a post right here about the poor conditions in Washington’s forests making them primed for wildfires. This was based on a trip we took on Tuesday to Mount Rainier National Park. We drove up to Sunrise, and I commented that the Mountain itself was shrouded in wildfire smoke from fires in Eastern Washington. Let me refresh your memory, in case you have forgotten.

Now, it just so happens that I found a new story on the KOMO Web site that says:

Wildfire burning 200 acres and growing in Mount Rainier National Park. The location of the fire is near Sunrise.

The disgraced former Governor of Washington, Jay Inslee, who promoted himself in his 2020 Presidential campaign as the “Environmental Candidate” has come out with the predicted statement, blaming the fires on his favorite boogeyman, Climate Change.

Climate Change is now in jail in Spokane, charged with first-degree arson.

And…

Welcome to the State of Washington, where the “environmental” government provides excellent conditions for wildfires, then cuts funding for preventing and fighting them.
