Are you worried about high gas prices?
The header photo shows the level of gasoline prices in my neighborhood of Western Washington. Our Dictator has said nothing about the high prices, probably because he is happy with them. He thinks that, the higher the price of gas goes, the more of his subjects will buy expensive electric cars. And he is happy …
Why do so many in government and media ignore what’s staring them in the face regarding Covid vaccines?
It seems that the Dictator of Washington State, and his Lieutenant Dictator have both tested positive for Covid-19. Both people have been fully-vaccinated and had their booster shots, just like their Overlords in the CDC recommended. Here is what he said: “I am experiencing very mild symptoms and am most glad I’m vaccinated and boosted,” …
Snohomish County Health can go pound sand
It's not about "public health" anymore, it's about Control of The Population. This story and graph appeared in the Mill Creek View, a free newspaper. The two definitely tell exactly opposite stories. Which would you believe? The story tells you that the local public health "authorities" recommend that the always-obedient people resume mask wearing indoors …
Is Sound Transit’s Link Light Rail a rolling drug den or a rolling homeless shelter?
Sound Transit is the Western Washington “light rail” project, for which people in a large area of the Puget Sound (much of it out of reach of the choo-choo train for decades) pay a property tax, a sales tax, and a car-registration tax every year. Covid Madness on our Road Trip

In none of those states did we encounter a mask mandate. In every state we stopped in, we found some people wearing masks in public (higher percentage in WA than any …
View From The 21st Floor-Birthday Dinner
Today, April 16, is my 73rd birthday. Last night, Hubby and I went out for my birthday dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, Daniel's Broiler in downtown Bellevue. We normally go there for both our birthdays, and on our anniversary in October. We were not allowed to go there in 2020, as the Dictator …
Communist Chinese Dictator Xi Jinping is in grave danger
If you have been following the news lately, you might be aware of the dire news out of mainland China, and its most vital city, Shanghai. Since early 2020, the Communist Chinese have had a "Zero Covid" policy on the mainland and in Hong Kong. This policy involves attempts to stamp out any outbreak of …

Dispatch from the “Mask Optional” universe
The Dictator of Washington State removed the state-wide Covid Mask Mandate as of midnight on Friday, March 11. The wearing of masks indoors remains mandatory for all medical/dental facilities and jails, and on government/public transportation (including ride-shares like Uber and Lyft, which are not government-owned). So on Saturday and Sunday, I kept my eyes open …
Unintended (?) consequences of the Left’s environmental movement
The Leftists of the world think that humans are destroying the planet. They firmly believe that human-generated "greenhouse gases" have been causing the climate to get warmer for decades, and they believe that, unless the world essentially ceases to emit such gases from activities such as driving cars and trucks fueled by gasoline, and heating …
